We have an immediate opening for a hardworking, detail oriented, people focused Junior Recruiter for our Mississauga office. The Junior Recruiter will be focused on managing our candidate pool and matching candidates with job openings. This involves internet research, maintaining a searchable talent database, and building relationships with active job seekers.

Duties / Responsibilities:
• Answer phones professionally and courteously.
• Collaborate with account managers to understand their hiring needs and goals.
• Screen resumes, process and respond to applications.
• Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews.
• Build relationships by telephone with supply chain and logistics professionals.
• Conduct reference checks.
• Document all interactions with candidates / jobseekers in our proprietary ATS.
• Update candidate profiles to maintain an accurate, searchable database of talent.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills are a must - both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creativity, ability to think outside the box.
  • Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritize are essential, with a demonstrated sense of urgency.
  • Must be self-motivated. We are looking for a go-getter!
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Education and/or experience in logistics / supply chain would be an asset.
  • Must be comfortable on the phone and have a strong sense of urgency – expectation is to connect with 10-20 candidates per day.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and database software applications.

Compensation

$38,000 plus monthly KPI bonus. Opportunities for rapid advancement including salary increases plus commission. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
