Director Supply Chain

We have an immediate need for a DIRECTOR OF SUPPLY CHAIN for a successful and growing omnichannel distributor in Markham. The company has been in business for over 200 years, and their Canadian operation is growing quickly. We need an experienced leader who will take a hands-on approach in formalizing supply chain planning processes to set up the organization for long-term success.

We require experience in S&OP and proven ability to manage change within a CPG (or similar) environment. ERP experience (specifically SAP) is a key requirement. We are looking for an experienced coach and mentor who can develop leadership skills amongst your direct reports. This role oversees a broad range of supply chain planning responsibilities including inventory optimization, demand planning and replenishment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inventory planning and forecasting.
  • Experience leading a team of 3 or more planners.
  • Post-Secondary Education is required. SCMP or CPIM an asset.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including Excel and SAP.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, able to manage vendor relationships and customer requirements.

Compensation

$115,000 – $135,000 plus bonus and benefits. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
